I'm an acupuncturist, Chinese face reader, and now content creator at Wise Hearts Connect. For 20 years, I've worked closely with people through the lens of Five Element acupuncture — helping them heal, grow, and reconnect with their essential nature.
My face reading practice grows from the teachings of Lillian Pearl Bridges and the Lotus Institute — the tradition that brought Chinese face reading and Five Element wisdom into modern practice. It's a way of seeing the face not as something to fix, but as a living story of who you are.
I've long been drawn to the deeper wisdom beneath symptoms — the stories written in our bodies and, fascinatingly, on our faces. As a Chinese face reader, I see the face as a living treasure map: revealing where we've been, who we are, and the unique gifts we're here to embody.

I grew up in Oregon, mostly free-range, spending a lot of time outside. My early love for nature, plants, and the healing wisdom they carry has shaped everything I do. From summers farming heirloom vegetables to teaching nature programs at Hoyt Arboretum, I've always been drawn to earthy, soul work.
I earned my Master's degree from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Florida and have been in clinical practice since 2007, licensed in Oregon and Washington. I've served as President of the South Sound Acupuncture Association and the Oregon Acupuncture Association.
My practice is an evolving blend of traditional and energetic medicine. I integrate acupuncture, Chinese face reading, Acutonics tuning forks, vibrational essences — and plenty of conversation, warmth, and deep listening.
Outside of work, I spend time with my husband and our two boys, tending houseplants and summer gardens, practicing yoga, lifting weights, playing in the kitchen, and keeping my mind open with books on healing, energy, and the mysteries of life.

Some things feel destined — and Wise Hearts Connect is one of them. Through the magical portal of the internet, Lachlan and Hilarey met and began collaborating on ideas. Hilarey was eager to share her teachings with the world; Lachlan was eager to create something meaningful.
What started as a project quickly became something much deeper. Through their work together, Hilarey's wisdom helped Lachlan reconnect with his purpose and reshape how he sees life — reminding him how to see the miracles of existence all around us.
Lachlan serves as sole producer and videographer for the channel, handling everything from filming and editing to creative direction and business strategy. He believes what Hilarey has to share can truly make a wonderful impact in the world.
